I used linen instead of burlap-- burlap is too coarse. Then I used jute to do the stitches. I didn't stitch separate pieces together i just did folds. Also aged it with acrylic paint deluded in water. Not much more to it than that!

Really I just mixed a squirt of black paint in a bowl of water and dipped little parts in it-- the effect is very light but a little goes a long way. In some places I even used my fingers and layered. You really just gotta feel for it.

Oh! I just tacked it together over a bowl. If you have a foam head that works too.
